Teens and Young Adults

Independent Life Skills is a program geared towards teens in foster care, teens who have been truant or in detention facilities and adolescents/young adults who need extra support towards independent adulthood. Through 8 workshop sessions, teens and young adults will learn valuable skills such as job preparedness, banking, home economics, auto care, personal care and more. Budgeting, finding an apartment, moving…

Living as an independent adult is tricky for everyone, especially kids who have experienced multiple challenges early in life. We offer workshops for teens and young adults to give them the skills and confidence needed to live successfully on their own.
